Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) provides a vital and dynamic way for
students, in grades 6 - 12, to grow in their Christian discipleship.
There are many exciting events that youth can participate in. Whether at retreat, mission trip, or UMYF meetings, our focus is
building meaningful relationships with each other and God.
UMYF meets on Sundays with the following schedule:
- 9 :00 - 10:00 am Sunday School
- 12:00 - 12:45 Youth Praise Choir Practice. (We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.)
- 1:00 - 3:00 UMYF Lunch and Fellowship (Also meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. Call PUMC office to verify schedule.
We also make our programming fun and inviting, so kids will not only
want to come, but will want to bring their friends as well. PUMC offers
youth a wide range of classes and opportunities for growth and
socialization. Whether the activity is a Bible study, a retreat at a
United Methodist Camp, a mission work project, or a Sunday evening UMYF
program, the youth are constantly challenged to grow within the body of
Christ. Activities are designed to provide Christian fellowship as well
as learning experiences. We have many special programs, events and
trips for youth throughout the year.
